About this deal

Within the warranty period, any AOC displays with manufacturing defects or faulty components will be repaired or replaced at no additional charge.

Long story short: the 27-inch AOC U27P2CA wants to give you a 4K screen for your home office or your actual office for as little money as possible. The lack of USB-C ports is a more frustrating oversight, but if you don’t need one, then this could be the office monitor you’re looking for. The peak luminance of 400 cd/m² enables your display to hone the picture quality with a manifold colour spectrum and more diverse contrast. At 1,000:1, the static contrast ratio is good, although the brightness is a little low at 350 cd/m2. It features easy-on-the-eye technologies like Flicker-Free and Low Blue Light, Adaptive Synch and 60Hz refresh. Brightness tops out at 350 nits, the contrast ratio is 1,000:1, and the refresh rate is 60Hz (it won't work for high frame-rate content therefore, nor is its HDMI port compatible). Our only criticism of the design is that most of the rear ports are quite difficult to access, being tucked away behind the pillar. It's even cheaper than the AOC U27P2CA, while keeping the 4K resolution and upping the overall screen size to 28-inches.

In the past, we have been treated to HD (high definition), denoting the screen is capable of running a minimum 720p resolution. The AOC monitors range has something for everyone with their award-winning design and performance across a range of specs. At least you’ve got some integrated speakers, though, and there’s a headphone jack for connecting your own superior audio solution. So whether you prefer a 40” big screen monitor, a smaller more ergonomic display or a QHD or 4K monitor, AOC’s range covers all bases. Even the lowest level of High Dynamic Range (HDR) feature poses a significant upgrade to common monitors.

That's a little slow for gaming, as is the 4ms response time – though it will display games, obviously.Ultra HD brings every detail into focus and the screen-splitting functionality is ideal for multitasking. The AOC U2790PQU is built on a premium IPS (In-Plain Switching) panel with native 4K resolution and 10-bit color depth. Once it is up and running, you will have a high contrast, fast-response monitor with low energy consumption that will look great in both office and home. mm headphone jack as well, besides the USB options, so you're well covered if you want to wear headphones.
